SME sized dev shop is currently involved in a long term project with
one of the Sandton based financials. They are building complex systems
using SQL 2005 and migrating from SQL 2000. They need senior people
with the following skills:
Experience with MS SQL 2000 and MS SQL 2005;
T-SQL - essential;
experience
designing and creating databases using both SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 -
experience migrating from 2000 to 2005 advantageous;
experience of Enterprise Application Development;
knowledge of Service Orientated Architecture;
knowledge of Agile and XP;
experience of/ or similar tools to Source Control, Team Explorer, SQL profiler, VTST Unit Testing, VSTS Build Configuration.
This
client will consider either permanent or contract Developers, they will
consider salary ranges of between R300K and R550K obviously keeping in
mind that this is based on experience.
