    WoW

I'm curious to know - how many fellow WoW addicts are there on here?
Someone once told me love makes the world go around and, well, I just had to laugh in their face because EVERYBODY knows what REALLY makes the world go around is a mutant gerbil on a treadmill.

Leave the Dark Side. Come to LOTRO.  Smile

    Re: WoW

NEVER!!!  Besides, if you're the kind of geek that loves Lord of the Rings enough to PAY to play online, WoW has an additional draw for you:  I'm not the only female who plays...

    Re: WoW

The problem is never getting females to play. After all there are many on LOTRO too. The real problem is working out who they are!  Cool

    Re: WoW

There is no chance in hell that I would ever date a girl that played any online game.  If she's anything like me she'll be spending all her time playing and have no time for me Stick out tongue

Why go against tradition when we can admit defeat, live in decline, be the victim of our own design?

    Re: WoW

But think of all that wasted time you would spend doing things that aren't game-related...  With a girlfriend who games, you can spend more time with her AND more time gaming...

    Re: WoW

I heard a rumour (which I have seen substantiated on the myadsl forums) that most SA players are on US Stormrage.

There are enough SA players that on the weekend, chatting in afrikaans on the trade channel will get you some replies :D

Well, on EU servers you ALWAYS get a reply...  Although not usually in Afrikaans.  More likely in Dutch or German.

    Re: WoW

EU server Twilight's Hammer is the place to be if you're South African, I found out...  There are 3 South African guilds on the server, as well as a South African chat channel.

I've started on Twilight's Hammer, which is a PVP server.  Although PVE makes STV a viable, non-suicidal 30-45 lvling area.

    What faction :)

Horde seems to be the choice of Shard on the svr.
