No, but seriously. I work in an environment where if the DB goes down it costs tens of thousands every hour. It makes a support contract seem cheap.

True, but I can't justify buying OpenSource software, which leads me to something I should've asked a while ago: why should I use MS SQL as opposed to MySQL? There are so many articles out there, but each one is bias towards their own personal preferences, and end up sladering the other
