    What happened??????

I once sent a classic ASP server straight to hell because I messed up scripts to alter columns based on the decimal type. I forgot to add any values for the values after the decimal point. Needless to say, no fractions could then be saved! Happened about 10 months or so ago, I think.

Anyway, I think any developer that hasn't sent a server spiralling into oblivion at least once hasn't been trying to better him/herself. You learn how NOT to do things the hard way (getting crapped on by your boss for screwing up, then fixing it into the wee hours of the night, only to find out you messed up something in the web.config file and that's why nothing worked Stick out tongue).

    Web.config.

Some of the sites on the server were working with the Atlas toolkit.  Clever me decides to standardise the Ajax toolkit assembly and everything falls to pieces.

I seem to do it at least once a year... last year was the great file server crash of '07 ...attributable to my name of course Stick out tongue
