You need:
Strong MS SQL 2005 - you will not work with SQL 2000 and are more likely to find yourself using SQL 2008 and/or PPS than outdated techs.
You MUST have in depth SSIS experience - the amount of time you've used is not as important as the skill you use it with.
SSAS and/or SSRS are both advantageous - you must have good cubing skills and some reporting systems build experience.
This is a technical role, although you will find yourself involved in Analysis, Architecture and Design in conjunction with those specialists.
A logic based mindset is needed, a ambitious personality essential.
My client will look at slightly more Junior people (with 2.5/3 years experience) but salary packages will be based on experience.
