Main responsibilities

PHP development moslty. Working with other technologies like XML, AMFPHP, XHTML, SHTML, DHTML, HTML, CSS, KML, MySQL and researching new web technologies.

There will probably be liaising with clients involved too but only during meetings and query resolving.

The person suitable for this job is someone who understands programming as a concept and who can pick up a new language and start to develop in it fairly quickly.

% Maintenance/Development

20% maintenance, 80% development.

2 designer – 1 senior, 1 junior

2 Flash developer – both senior

1 General office admin

Main skills required

l  Strong PHP skills with a willingness to learn new skills and grow as an IT professional.

l  Knowledge of the web and servers – mostly Apache and fedora core/other linux/unix based servers

l  DHTML/XHTML/SHTML/HTML/XML/CSS/MySQL – or at least a basic understanding of the languages.

l  MySQL 4+

l  Flash knowledge would be a big bonus

l  Must have proper knowledge on securing MySQL from SQL injection and attacks and writing advanced queries.
