The most advanced BI/EDW environment in the country seeks a Senior Project Manager with extensive BI/EDW experience to managing enterprise projects in the MS space.

Daily functions include:
Status Reporting forms the backbone of any successful project, therefore accurate and regular Status Reports are compiled and distributed to the project Stakeholders
Coordination planning, scheduling of team meetings to ensure proper project tracking
Mitigation of Risks and Issues
Creation and Maintaining baseline, forecast, and actual project plans
Resource Management: execution of core team members
Project Management Toolsets: EPM (Enterprise Project Management) and MS Project
Internal Project Management Process Definitions
Change Management

NB your technical background is secondary to the BI experience you have; my Client are a Microsoft specialist and as such you will be involved in the MS suite of products. Most importantly you need extensive BI experience ideally in a consulting environment.

Any knowledge of the MS suite advantageous – SSIS, SSAS, Sharepoint, SSRS, PPS, Proclarity etc…

Previous EPM experience advantageous;

Strong PMBOK experience in large, complex environments essential.

Permanent; Johannesburg; negotiable between R650K and R700K ctc per annum
