Hey Guys and Girls

 

I have been looking at getting into Silverlight and wanted to get the silverlight tools add-on for Visual Studio 2005, but I see it only works for VS 2008 is this because of the .Net framework? VS 2008 uses 3.5 and VS 2005 2.0. Would the Silverlight add-on work on the Express VS 2008 C#?

Silverlight 2.0 SDK / Add-On will only work with Visual Studio 2008 Standard Edition or higher. No support for the Express editions as yet unfortunately.

Correct

It will be supported in Web Express SP1 as it introduced the ability to use Plugins. It will also now support MVC, Web Application Projects and various other CodePlex projects. I am not sure if custom plugins will be supported.

Yeah only in SP 1

Good news, Silverlight 2 RC0 has been released and it supports VWD2008 SP1. :)
