However Visual Studio 2010's release date was pushed back from March to April after the bookings were made. So the Visual Studio 2010 South African launch event is still at DevDays 2010 in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban however its not an

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check it out. The reason for wanting a live session is for audience feedback and participation with questions, etc.

  • Local webcast/screencast sessions

One of the problems we've always had with in-person events is traffic and other activities on that evening. • Re: Windows Install Media and Licence Keys

Yeah your license key does have to match. But you can install in 30 day trial mode with no key.

  • Re: Windows Install Media and Licence Keys

What normally matters most is the type of key and the type of media. The keys range from OEM, DSP, Retail, VLK, etc. Sometimes some keys work on certain media only. I believe though with Windows 7 that OEM, DSP, Retail and Upgrade all work on retail media. And from what I've seen the media on TechNet and MSDN is all retail media. Also don't

  • Re: Who's way is better, yours or mine? (when egos get in the way)

Your wife is in a tough position at first glance, and a demoralizing one at that, however she has the opportunity to grow, A chance to gain experience and to learn from mistakes.
